Modern Rugs & Furniture is a family-run furniture store on Logan Road in Underwood, on Brisbane's southside. We opened in August 2025 with a simple idea: stock complete rooms — a rug, a lounge set, a bed, the tables that go between them — so you can furnish a space without it turning into a scavenger hunt across a dozen shops.
You'll find velvet and leather sofa sets from $2,899, upholstered and carved-timber beds from $3,799, marble coffee and console tables from $300, and a big range of Persian-style rugs from $340. Everything is on the floor to see, sit on and compare in daylight, with delivery and assembly across Brisbane and South-East Queensland.

We’re at 3259 Logan Rd, Underwood QLD 4119 — on Brisbane’s southside, a few minutes from the M1. There’s parking out front and we’re open seven days.

Yes — we deliver and assemble across Brisbane and South-East Queensland, with Australia-wide freight available on request. Lounges and beds include white-glove assembly.

Yes. We offer Afterpay and Zip so you can split the cost interest-free, and we take cash and card in the showroom.
